Commission E Secretary Appreciates Launch of Siap Belajar Jakarta Portal

It is expected to support the teaching and learning process which is currently not running normally

The launch of the "Siap Belajar Jakarta" portal by the Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) on Saturday (7/11), received a positive response from the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD)'s Commission E Secretary Jhonny Simanjuntak.

According to him, it was a Disdik effort to optimize the distance learning (PPJ) process while maintaining the quality of education during the transitional large-scale social restriction (PSBB).

"It is expected to support the teaching and learning process which is currently not running normally," he expressed, Monday (7/13).

He added the agency should continue to socialize the online-based learning system, as not all parents understand technical application.

"But I appreciate it, as the advancement of online learning system technology is a must," he expressed.

He also urged all students and parents to make the best use of time for learning activities and make preparations before entering 2020/2021 academic year, which falls after the transition period ends.

"Hopefully this pandemic will soon be over and the learning process can return to normal as usual," he hoped.

As for the information, Siap Belajar Jakarta can be accessed via siapbelajar.jakarta.go.id or via Jakarta Provincial Education Agency's website (disdik.jakarta.go.id). With this portal, the teachers, parents and students can get information needed to conduct the learning process.
